Quick Answer

Cyren, a long-time email security vendor used by DuoCircle for over eight years, announced a global reduction in force on February 1, 2023, because of liquidity issues. DuoCircle had significant operational dependence on Cyren's technology and ecosystem. The risk-reduction work is largely complete: most processes have been replicated on alternative infrastructure, with two capabilities, false-positive reporting and false-negative reporting, still being rebuilt under new processes. Customers should not see disruption in baseline spam filtering. If you observe an increase in spam volume, contact support so the team can investigate and tune the replacement filters.

We are dedicated to providing our clients with the best level of protection from spam and other email risks because we recognize the critical nature of email security. We go above and above to deliver our services promptly and with care, and we are committed to making sure that our customers’ communications are uninterrupted.

While we try to plan for the unexpected it’s not always possible. Cyren.com one of our long-time trusted email security vendors has announced a global reduction in force as of February 1st, 2023, due to liquidity issues. Since Cyren has functioned as our provider for over 8 years, we had a lot invested in their technology and entire ecosystem. Due to this change, we wish to reassure you that we have already taken action to reduce any risks connected to the Cyren service. While we have replicated most of the processes some capabilities, including false positive and false negative reporting, need new processes to be built.

In conclusion, we wish to reassure you that we have taken the required precautions to reduce any dangers associated with the Cyren service, despite the fact that the announcement of Cyren’s global reduction in force may have initially generated worry.

We recognize that some of our customers might be worried about how this change would affect their spam filtering service. Please notify us right away if you detect an increase in spam volume; we’ll then take the appropriate action to fix the problem.
