We are excited to announce a long anticipated feature to our outbound SMTP reports.
This upgrade allows you to visually track in real time your daily and monthly SMTP usage. Previously we only displayed the past 24 hours, but now we are providing a rolling 30 days of history and will be expanding the functionality in the very near future.
For December 2016 our uptime for inbound spam filteringwas 100%, Nettica Webmail 100% and our outbound SMTP was 99.99%. The outbound SMTP was a total of six minutes of interruption over five very small blips in the system. (more…)
Today Google announced Google for Work has a new name.
Calendar, Drive, Docs, Gmail, Maps for Work, Search for Work, Sheets and Slides all fall under “G Suite“. It all now falls under Google Cloud (that powering everything), as which will encompass Chromebooks too.
The reason for the change is a step in the direction towards catering for its enterprise customers. The goal for Google is to that G Suite will continue to grow, with built-in collaboration being of the utmost importance. (more…)
On July 1 we experienced DNS failure of our top level mailhop.org domain which impacted customers to a varying degree before ICANN resolved the problem. Part of our mission statement is to minimize all single points of failure for your email service. We have been working with this one client for about 4 months on an OpenSSL issue. Today we received this awesome update on his system upgrades that I wanted to share with you. A system administrators job is never done, and what seems like a very straightforward task has twists and turns, dependencies and unintended discoveries.

In April 2016 our uptime was 100% as measured by Pingdom.com

Last week we announced the roll out of the brand new message logging portal which allows the Administrative user the ability to view all message logs for their associated domain. This week we have enhanced the portal to include message statistics for all outbound SMTP traffic and inbound delivery for your domains. This is a major step forward and allows you to have complete visibility into your message delivery. As part of our platform upgrade we are now providing access to your message logs for Email Gateway, Email Forwarding, Email Backup and Outbound SMTP
This allow the account administrator the tools and insight to verify the service is working as intended or to debug message delivery issues. By allow a greater level of transparency for our customers you’ll be able to review the logs for their mail that is being processed by our service. (more…)

As mention in Digital Journal – Enterprise spam filtering company DuoCircle has announced an upgrade to their provisioning system and website. The updated website www.duocircle.com will allow businesses to provision cloud based spam filtering and hosted email accounts for businesses of any size.
On March 1st we brough the spam filtering servers located in the EU (Frankfurt) online. This means that we’ll have greater capacity and redundancy for your mail, you can read our entire post about our multi zone spam filtering approach.
However if you are currently firewalling your mail server to only accept mail from DuoCircle IP pool you will need to add these IP’s to your white list in order for your email to be delivered correctly: (more…)
